# Skilled Purpose

> Skilled Purpose is a Cape Cod nonprofit providing 12-week hands-on carpentry training and employer pathways for people in recovery and individuals returning to the community after incarceration.

A flagship program of The Michael English House, Skilled Purpose combines instruction aligned with OSHA safety principles and IBC standards, lived-experience mentorship, workforce readiness coaching, and direct employer connectivity in Barnstable County, Massachusetts.
